upon my second wine-fueled perusal: i think it's the sincerity that is completely hilarious. Erin, in the first verse, is the picture of pissed off, while Pat, the sensitive flower, really embodies regret. This, of course, culminating in the final chorus where Ms. Clarkson is vocally improving....to which Pat yet again wows us with his deft handling of such pure emotional rawness, in contrast to Erin's heartwrenching rage.
