Random Thoughts

With little or now follow up explanation.

1. I am consistently disappointed in Blood Oranges.
2. The Giving Tree is a monstrous story.
3. Given the state of Chicago's public transportation, The CTA...I'm not sure if this is the best or worst slogan ever:

Yes. Take it, while your "Counting Down to a New Brown". In a room full of grown people who live in the same country that produces Beavis and Butthead and South Park, did NO ONE speak up? NOT A SINGLE PERSON?

I'm glad to see you've come around on The Giving Tree.

isizerof (excl. eye-sehz - yer - off) - a quick and painless way of telling someone you think they're nuts.

By "monstrous," I hope you mean "a bleak and horrid portrayal of a devastatingly parasitic relationship..."

Having been in advertising for the better part of two decades, I can assure you without even having been in that room that no one who saw the possible negative meaning in CTA: take it. was in any position to speak up, nor would their observation/objection/opinion be heard by the folks in charge.

Bad advertising choices rarely escape notice at the places where they're created, but generally the people noticing are the people who are themselves beneath notice.
